Our President and CEO

Mollie S. Newton, Founder and CEO of Planning Professionals Ltd., has earned both the Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) and Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) Designations. A recognized leader in the meeting industry, in 1996, she was named one of the "Tomorrow's Leaders" by Meeting Professionals International (MPI), the world's largest associations of meeting planning professionals. Ms. Newton is a member of Society of Government Meeting Professionals (SGMP), and Meeting Professionals International (MPI) and has served on MPI international committees for global development, government affairs, and awards. Planning Professionals Ltd. has been selected as a Top Owned Business with an award given to Ms. Newton for one of the top entrepreneurs in the country by DiversityBusiness.com. She participates in two local chambers of commerce and is involved in community affairs and her children's activities. During the years of 1992-1994, Ms. Newton helped build a shelter for battered and abused women and children through the Rotary International of Toronto, Canada. Before founding Planning Professionals Ltd. in 1994, Ms. Newton served as Director of Meetings for Miller Freeman of Dallas and Executive Director of Sales and Events for BRC International, a special events company based in Toronto.
